MIRCO in a glance

Mirco Co. (an affiliation of Touka Foolad Steel Investment Company) was established in Isfahan Province in 1990. Simultaneous with the construction of Mobarakeh Steel Complex, with the aim of achieving technical knowledge for the production of industrial rubber required by the steel industry under the license of Tamborini Co. of Italy and also manufacturing and installing equipment for steel transfer lines of Isfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. as well as maintenance and repair of these lines, with Reg. Vo.7373. After that, based on the development policies of Tuka Foolad Investment Co., Behsazan Steel Roller Co., which was operating in the field of production and reconstruction of rollers for the Casting Lines of the steel industry, was merged with this Company, developing a new complex under the name “Mobarakeh Industrial Rolls and Rubber Co. (MIRCO).

According to the latest alterations, the registered capital of the company is more than 400 billion rials which more than 85% belongs to Tuka Foolad Investment Co., and less than 15% belongs to natural entities (mainly Mobarakeh Steel Co. employees).

MIRCO With more than 30 years of experience in the industry as well as relying on the capability and skill of its hardworking employees, who are more than 400 people, having a total of more than 45,000 m2 of workshop space in the provinces of Isfahan and Hormozgan, and having active projects in Yazd and Chaharmahal Bakhtiari provinces, is proud to serve more than 900 customers based on processes in accordance with IMS standards in its brilliant record.

MIRCO’s industrial activities are classified into four different categories :

۱- Polymer Industry Group :

This plant has various equipment for the production of compound and rubber sheets with an approximate capacity of 1500 tons per year (including three 70-, 35- and 17-liter banburies, mixing rollers, and a three-roller calender, screw roller machines with the length of 12 meters and  diameters up to 2 meters, three polyurethane kilns, two autoclaves, and other equipment required for various types of industrial polymers to produce rubber and polyurethane parts as well as covers of various types of rollers and rubber-lining surfaces, including metal and different metal and concrete tanks, components, and fittings.

Some of the executing experiences of this unit are: Execution of more than 500 thousand square meters of surface rubber-lining in various industries, such as sulfuric acid tanks, flotation, etc., manufacture of more than 1000 types of rubber and polyurethane components, including shock absorbers, lifter bars and shell plates of crusher mills in iron ore mines, covering of various types of more than 5000 rubber and polyurethane rollers, including:

• Covering the largest silicone roller in the country with a diameter of 600 and a length of 7000 mm belonging to Qazvin Shimianeh Co.
• Covering the largest dewatering roller in the Iranian paper industry with a diameter of 1200 and a length of 12000 mm belonging to Mazandaran Wood and Paper Company
• Suction roller cover of Modern the Paper Industry with dimensions of 950 * 50,000 mm
• Polyurethane roller cover for the modern paper industry with dimensions of 5200 x 400 mm
• In the polymer unit ,in additian to producing rubbers & polyurethan products and performing Rubber Lining & rollers coating manufacture of conveyor rollers ( with production capacity of 25/000 rollers/year side wall conveyor bucket & shutters ore also produced.also Mirco Co. is well known as one of the manufactures of sidewall conveyar & shutters in the country and also is the first cold assebler of this type at conveyor belts in Iran.

Manufacture of corrugated and bucket conveyor belts of the sidewalls is also done in this unit.

This unit also has two official patents in the fields of production of adhesives and primers for connecting cured rubber to metal and conveyor belts patching, and its mass production under the brands MIRCO-ADC300 and MIRCO-ADC3 (equivalent same as Foreigner products SC2000) in He has a record.

Although MIRCO Co. is well known as the first manufacturer of the sidewall bucket and corrugated conveyor belts in the country, in line with its development goals, it is setting up a production unit for steel cord conveyors, which in the future, the construction of which will soon begin.

۲- Metal Industry Group :

With more than 20 powder automatic welding nozzles, over 20 lathes with different dimensions, heat treatment furnaces up to 18 cubic meters, and also boring and milling machines, etc., this unit has the ability to manufacture or renovate all kinds of metal components, including metal rollers of the casting lines. This unit is considered as one of the largest contractors in this field in the country by focusing on repairing and renovation of various types of rollers of the casting lines in the steel industry. Some of the executing experiences of this unit include the production of more than 5000 rollers for casting lines, restoration and repairing of more than 12,000 rollers, so far, for Mobarakeh Steel Co., Hormozgan Steel Co., and Saba Steel Complex, and other similar plants and restoration of various briquetting expanders of Khuzestan Steel Co., as well as Mobarakeh steel and Khuzestan steel companies crane wheels, etc.

In addition to providing part of its annual needs, this unit also produces solid powder welding wire (with a capacity of 20 tons per year), and it is possible to supply some types of welding wire required by metal industries for hard coating (cladding).

In line with its development goals, MIRCO Co. is establishing a repairing workshop in the Persian Gulf Special Zone in Hormozgan Province, which will be operational in the near future.

۳- Projects Group :

With its skilled manpower and more than 30 years of repair and maintenance experience of material transfer lines, MIRCO Co. performs repair and maintenance services as well as the implementation of optimization projects in various industries in the form of long-term contracts or cross-sectional projects. Some of the working experiences of this company consist of maintenance of all material transfer lines in Mobarakeh Steel Co. with a length of more than 90 km and with the efficiency of more than 96% for 30 years continuously and implementation of similar contracts in Hormozgan Steel Co. and Saba Steel Complex for more than 15 Year and maintenance and repair of transfer and dust collection lines of Iranian alloy steel Co. in Yazd, etc.

With all the equipment for conveyor belts patches, including hot patching chassis, mobile trucks, etc., this company has the ability to provide services to all parts of the country. Some of the services provided in this field are installation and patching of conveyors of Zamzam 2 project of Khuzestan Steel Company, Gol Gohar Iron Ore Complex, Isfahan Steel Balance Plan, and Meidouk Copper Complex, Iron pellet number 2 Gol Gohar sirjan and Iron pellet Opal Parsian

۴- Business and Engineering Services Group :

In addition to producing products and providing project and contracting services, MIRCO Co. has the possibility to supply some main items of the material transfer lines, such as conveyors, motors, and gearboxes of material transfer lines, rollers, etc. by access to the reliable European resources.

Also, due to having two equipped laboratories and experimental rubber production equipment, in addition to the possibility of voluntary partnerships and fulfilling social responsibilities, especially with scientific associations and research institutions, it is also possible to provide these services to external customers.
