Introduction of Mirco Company
an affiliation of Touka Foolad Steel Investment Company
Simultaneously with the construction of Mobarakeh Steel Complex, Mirco Co. was established in Isfahan Province, under the Reg. Vo. 7373. The goal was to obtain the technical knowledge of industrial rubber production in the steel industry and to install the equipment required for the steel transfer lines and handling the repair and maintenance activities for the lines. The company started its activities under the license of the Italian company of Tamborini Co. in the field of industrial rubbers required for the steel industries. After ten years, and following the establishment of its processes, the company succeeded to receive ISO 9001 certificate from TUV Nord Institute © in 2001. After years’ presence in the industry, and relying on the existing knowledge and the obtained experience, the company registered two valuable patents and embarked to produce the adhesive and primer for connecting the cured rubber to the metal in 2009 and to produce the cold adhesive for binding the conveyor in 2011. Accordingly, the company paced a significant step toward the realization of self-sufficiency.
Mirko Company, as a subsidiary of Touka Steel Investment Company, with the support of more than thirty years of presence in the industry and relying on the experiences and capabilities of its hardworking employees, operates in various fields of manufacturing and production of material handling equipment in various industries.
Research and Development
Having experienced staffs, as well as a laboratory equipped with test equipment such as Instron and Santam tension test machines, rheometery, resilience test, wearing test, compression set, hardness measuring test equipment, as well as having elite quality control personnel, state-of-the-art tools, and pilot facilities’ shops including laboratory Banburies, etc., the R&D unit can conduct various projects and provide formulations based on different kinds of elastomers such as fluoro-carbons (Wyton), Si, CSM, PU, EPDM, NBR, CR, etc. for various applications.
The formulation of various kinds of rollers’ covers, equipment rubber linings, and tanks, production of special rubber components, etc. which have different physical and chemical properties are designed based on the component performance.

Simultaneously with the construction of Mobarakeh Steel Complex, MIRCO Co. (an affiliation of Touka Foolad Steel Investment Company) was established in Isfahan Province in 1990, under the Reg. Vo. 7373. The primary goal of the company was to transfer the required technical knowledge of industrial rubber production in the steel industry (under the license of the Italian company of Tamborini Co.). It was also planned to manufacture and install the equipment required for the steel transfer lines of Isfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. as well as the maintenance and repair of the lines. Afterward, and according to the development policies of the Touka Foolad Steel Investment Company, Behsazan Steel Roller Co., which has been already operating in the field of production and reconstruction of rollers for the Casting Lines of steel industries since 2002, was merged with the Company. Thereby, a new complex developed called the “Mobarakeh Industrial Rolls and Rubber Co. (MIRCO), which then tried to expand its activities.
